Upcoming classes

consent education based in connection and creativity

Here’s what to know about classes at @consent.wizardry:

As long as you register for a class before it begins, you will receive the class recording via email as soon as it is available so that you can rewatch it. Recordings will not be for sale after the class has begun (unless otherwise specified). I do have some recorded classes available on their own!

You can explore more of Consent Wizardry, and support my work, by:

  • checking out CW merch and digital resources

  • reading my Substack

  • checking out Share the Load podcast — rate, review, and subscribe!

  • joining the newsletter to stay up to date with new offerings

  • sharing my work with people you think would enjoy it

Any way you spread the word is so appreciated!

The Boundaries + Consent Workbook is a good companion to any class.

My approach is integrative, somatic, anti-binary, trauma-informed, anti-carceral, and anti-cancellation.

April 14 + 15

boundaries + Your business

with Mia

VIRTUAL: Monday April 14 + Tuesday April 15, 5–7pm PT / 8–10pm PT. Class recordings will be sent to students who registered for the program in advance.

This class is intended for those who are or want to be self-employed, are healers, coaches, artists, freelancers, practitioners, mental health professionals, those who are looking for more creativity and sustainability in their work, and those who are in career transitions.

Are you taking on projects that feel misaligned? Do you feel like you can’t stop working? Do you feel like you’re headed for burnout in your work life? Are you feeling creatively unfulfilled in your work? This class is for you.

We will practice saying no to projects that don’t align, we’ll set and negotiate rates, I’ll share my brand manual and marketing funnel, we’ll mythbust the idea that if you love what you do you shouldn’t make money from it and the idea that making money is the same as being a capitalist.

April 16 + 17

Boundaries + Consent: BACK2BASICS

with Mia

VIRTUAL: Wednesday April 16 + Thursday April 17, 5–7pm PT / 8–10pm ET. Class recordings will be sent to students who registered for the program in advance.

This class is like boot camp for your boundaries. It will help you identify your boundaries and express them, learn to advocate for yourself and when to let things go so you don’t waste your time and energy, and how to notice your own indicators of stress so you can go stare at yourself in the bathroom mirror and take a few deep breaths before going back to the party.

It’s great for people who people-please, struggle to say no, feel burnt out, feel taken advantage of, or have a hard time identifying and asking for what they need. It’s also great for anyone who has been told they’re hard to say no to, tends to make indirect requests, or has been told that they’re pushy or intimidating.

You’ll learn what consent is and what it’s not, you’ll learn about the Yes-to-No Spectrum and Nonverbals, you’ll get practice in breakout rooms to really get this stuff into your body.

Do you feel like you do too many things? Are you a jack of all trades, master of none? You think the things you do might all be related, but you’re struggling to connect the dots? Have you reached the limits of other forms of support (such as talk therapy), either as a practitioner or a client, and do you want practical tools, skills, vocab, and exercises for yourself and your clients?

This program will help you bring consent work into your art and build a teaching practice and business that sustains your artwork. You will learn tools to access your creativity, work through perfectionism, mythbust the idea that making money off your work makes you a baaaaaaad evil Capitalist, and find or reconnect with your voice. You will embody consent and feel your boundaries in subtler and deeper ways, and you’ll be able to support others in doing the same. You’ll receive business support to tackle people pleasing and perfectionism, reckon with your inner critic, build a brand manual and successful social media presence, market yourself while prioritizing your self expression, and prevent burnout.

This program combines three courses: my Consent Educator Training, Unblocked, and Biz Support. Anyone can sign up for Consent Educator Training, which has unlimited spots. The full program including Unblocked, Biz Support, and 1:1 sessions with me is limited to 20 slots, exclusively for students who submit an application and take the Consent Educator Training course, which is included in the price of the full program.
